Condensate Polishers from Nancrede Engineering
Nancrede Engineering’s condensate polisher systems are used for cleaning boiler condensate return. These condensate polishers are typically used in power generation with large industrial boiler systems. Condensate polishing systems are designed to eliminate minerals and elements such as magnesium, iron, and calcium. Removing these reduces industrial boiler energy use, water use, and maintenance costs. A condensate polisher can improve the lifespan of boilers and power generation equipment.
Condensate polishers’ capacities range from 150,000 grains to 5,400,000 grains per tank with continuous flow rates from 0 to 1,200 GPM. Determine the correct size of a condensate polisher using this free tool.
Nancrede Engineering’s industrial condensate polishers are also available with anion resin which removes the negatively charged ions. These condensate polishing systems use a mixed bed design with both cation and anion resins. Called deep bed systems, they use strong acid and strong base bead resins to produce a very high quality demineralized water. Nancrede Engineering’s industrial condensate polishers use hydraulic or pneumatic valves, which feature a co-current regeneration sequence. Some of the condensate polishers features include:
- 304 Stainless steel resin tanks
- Air-Operated butterfly style control valves
- Automatic timer initiated regeneration cycle
- Polyethylene brine tank assembly
- High capacity, high cross-link exchange resin
Nancrede Engineering also provides the ability to add additional equipment to the condensate polishers. These may include:
- ASME rated resin tanks
- 316 Stainless Steel Construction
- Sub-surface wash distributor
- Water meter and totalizer
- Differential pressure switch
- Brine pump systems
- Alternate ion exchange resins
- Manually operated design
- Skid mount design for multi-tanks
